Miałam szansę przedstawić swoją propozycję muzyczną do filmu Karbala jego twórcom, jednak moja oferta przegrała z Cezarym Skubiszewskim, który do projektu zaprosił moją idolkę – Lisa Gerrard. No cóż, chylę głowę w pokorze, ale nie omieszkam podzielić się ze światem moją kompozycją, którą dedykuję wszystkim polskim żołnierzom na misjach, takim cichym bohaterom. Mało o nich wiemy, mało się o nich w naszym kraju mówi. Nie to co etos amerykańskiego żołnierza. Może warto to zweryfikować, oczywiście nie wdając się w dyskusje o słuszności lub jej braku wielu misji zagranicznych. Bardzo dziękuję za udostępnienie zdjęć z misji żołnierzom Jednostki Specjalnej “GROM” oraz żołnierzom III zmiany Polskiego Kontyngentu Wojskowego w Iraku.
I have had a chance to showcase my music propositions for the movie Karbala to the producers. Unfortunately I lost to Cezary Skubiszewski who invited to this project famous and fabulous Lisa Gerrard. I humbly accept that choice, however I would love to share my composition with all of you, also because I dedicate it to all Polish soldiers on foreign missions, who are our silent heroes. We know very little about them, they hardly ever make to the first line news, in contrary to the ethos and praise of American soldiers. Maybe we should change that, but without getting into discussion about validity of these missions.
I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart to the soldiers of the Military Unit “GROM” and to the soldiers of the III Shift of the Polish Military Contingent in Iraq.
